Various reasons have been found outside of Cieza for years.
This time, nine 'Ciezanos Absent' will be the protagonists of this symbolic day for
Cieza and for the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Consolation.
At 11:00 am, the reception will take place at the Cieza Town Hall, hosted by the mayor.
Mr. Pascual Lucas Díaz, from the town, and the president of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of
Consuelo, D. José Balsalobre Ortega to the 'Ciezanos Absent' of this year.
Once the event at the town hall concludes – 11:45 a.m. – a visit will be made to the House Museum of the
brotherhood, where the belongings of the venerated image of the Saint can be seen
Christ and the belongings of the Brotherhood itself.
There, the 9 Ciezanos Abroad will also take advantage of the visit to sign the Book of Honor
of the Brotherhood.
The visit to the Folklore Center is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. And at 2:00 p.m. the following will take place:
lunch in the Cieza Tennis Club lounge.
Later, at 5:30 p.m., the celebration of Holy Mass will begin in the Basilica.
