Municipal sources report that the construction work on the Mariano Rojas Sports Center swimming pools will be completed in a few days, and the pools will reopen on their usual annual dates. The completion of the work will pave the way for cleaning, commissioning, and health inspections prior to their opening.

This season, users will be able to enjoy a highly requested renovation that will bring quality to the facilities.

The project, with a budget of €101,000 from the Cieza City Council's Works and Services Plan, consisted of replacing and paving the beaches at the three reservoirs, remodeling and waterproofing the interior of the three reservoirs, and constructing a ramp in the largest reservoir to make bathing more accessible for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Thus, the works enhance the value of the facilities and are a firm commitment to the inclusive nature of municipal facilities.

Sources from the Department of Sports report that, in the coming days, all information regarding pool access, opening hours, and rules for use of the facility will be announced for the new swimming season, as well as a series of new features related to physical and health activities at the facility.
