The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has extended the territorial scope of its warning that temperatures could reach 38 degrees tomorrow, Thursday, in the Guadalentín Valley, Lorca and Águilas, a warning that will also affect the Vega del Segura.

Aemet also reports that on Friday temperatures will reach 40º in the Northwest and Vega del Segura and 39-40º in the Altiplano and Valle del Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas.

In addition, the Preventive Action Plan against the Effects of Excessive Temperatures on Health is at level 1, index 2, yellow color, since it is expected that throughout the week the maximum temperature considered threshold will be exceeded and on Saturday and Sunday the maximum and minimum temperatures considered threshold will be exceeded (34 degrees maximum and 23 degrees minimum).
