The fourth season begins with new features at the Cieza Aquatic Sports Center, managed by the City Council, both in terms of sports offerings and fees. In this last area, we highlight the increased discounts on several categories, the possibility of biweekly and quarterly payments, as well as the option of morning or afternoon admission to all sports activities (except swimming lessons).
Registration is now open for those interested in obtaining a membership card or a swim pass. Registration can be completed at the facility's reception desk, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. The program includes fitness classes for seniors and fat-burning sessions, as well as abdominal and stretching exercises.
A range of specialties are also offered, including Pilates, spinning, CrossFit, step-dance, body-power, gap, arac, aquagym, and cycle circuits. The pool continues its lineup of fitness exercises, which improve blood circulation, prevent obesity, combat osteoporosis, reduce cellulite, and alleviate stress.
The center's sports activities began on September 1st, including a weight room, a guided activities room, a spinning room, and a pool area. Swimming classes will begin on October 2nd. However, registration for swimming classes will open on September 11th, during regular morning hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Registration for these swimming courses will be from September 11th to 15th, for students who were enrolled in the 2016/17 school year and completed it on June 30th. New students will be able to register starting Monday, September 18th.
For more information and to register, please contact the Cieza Aquatic Sports Center, located on Camino de Alicante, where the Municipal Sports Service is also located, during the opening hours indicated above.
