AEMET has issued a new statement announcing that once again on Friday the 25th, maximum temperatures will exceed the threshold, triggering orange and yellow warnings.
It indicates that in Vega del Segura the maximum temperature in the shade can reach 43ºC, occasionally 44ºC, activating the orange level warning (Significant Risk).
On the other hand, in Altiplano the maximum temperature in the shade can reach 40 ºC, in this case activating the warning for the region also at orange level,
It also indicates that in the Northwest, Guadalentín Valley, Lorca, and Águilas, the maximum temperature will be 39°C, and could reach 40°C locally, thus activating a yellow level warning for these areas.
Warnings like these days go into effect at 1:00 PM and are deactivated at 9:00 PM.
