Customers will be able to get a €10 voucher for each purchase or minimum consumption of €30 to spend on the next purchase or consumption.
This morning, María Jesús López, the Councillor for Commerce in Cieza, presented the city's new "Somos de 10" (We're a 10) campaign to boost local spending. The campaign offers €10 discount vouchers to customers whose purchase or consumption receipt totals €30 or more. The voucher can be redeemed at the same business or another, provided the same amount is spent, and offers cannot be combined.
The council will provide a maximum of 100 vouchers per establishment for them to distribute to their customers according to the established criteria, and they must register with the town hall in person or electronically.
According to Councillor López, "this campaign represents a direct injection of 100,000 euros to the sectors most affected during Covid-19, in order to encourage consumption and boost the economy."
Businesses and hospitality establishments will have 10 days to request their participation in the campaign, from July 8 to 21, and subsequently customers will have two months to obtain the vouchers and exchange them in the different businesses and establishments.
María Jesús López Moreno also points out that "this amount, through discount vouchers, is in addition to the 300,000 euros of direct aid that was presented during the de-escalation phases, as well as all the measures that the council has been adopting in order to support these sectors."
The local government of Cieza City Council thus demonstrates once again its "high commitment to local businesses and to the Cieza community in general to continue transforming the city."
