16:31h. A fire involving plastic material (pipes) is reported in the yard of a warehouse belonging to a plastic products industry that manufactures products for irrigation.
The company is located on Juan Solano Garcia Street in the municipality of Cieza, very close to the T-301A.
They report a large column of smoke and wind in the area, as well as the proximity of homes.
– Firefighters from the CEIS fire station in Cieza are being dispatched to the scene of the fire.
A total of 5 firefighters and two firefighting vehicles, a light urban fire engine and a heavy water tanker, local police and Civil Guard.
Firefighters report that it is a plastic fire in the factory yard and that there is a diesel fuel tank but it does not pose any danger.
No further means are needed for its extinction.
5:33 p.m. The fire is extinguished, firefighters return to the station.
