21:32 hours.- Firefighters from the Consortium of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue of the Region of Murcia (CEIS), and Environmental Agent, extinguish a fire of reeds and scrubland in the Paraje de la Isla, Cieza.
More than fifteen calls received by 112 Region of Murcia alerted authorities to the fire.
According to the callers, the fire was spreading along the banks of the Segura River, near houses and vehicles.
Firefighters from the CEIS (Fire and Rescue Service) and an Environmental Agent from the area were immediately dispatched to the scene. Local police from Cieza also responded.
22:02 hours. Fire sergeant CEIS declares the fire extinguished, reporting that it has affected reeds, scrubland and some poplar trees, without the total area affected having been specified at the moment.
