Talk 'Current agricultural protests' this Wednesday, February 19th at the Atalaya Club at 6 pm.

Who works in agriculture? What is a farmer? Who has been demonstrating for over a week to protest the critical situation in agriculture?
None of the three questions has simple answers; much less so when it comes to an economic sector in which the small owner and the landowner coexist, the family farm and the company partly owned by investment funds, the cooperative member and the salaried worker, the cultivator of organic techniques and the uberized producer whose activity depends on an integrator with, in all cases, a progressive presence of large companies and a decrease in independent farmers while the trends towards land concentration, industrialization and professionalization of the sector are clearly imposed.
