The talk will take place next Thursday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m., at the premises of the Atalaya-Ateneo Club in the town of Cieza, and is part of the events being held in the municipalities of the region in the VIII Conference for an Education for the 21st Century, organized by the AFEREM association (Future of Education of the Region of Murcia).
Echoing the existing concern in society about the consequences that the pandemic may have left, next Thursday, May 19, the distinguished researcher Salvador Martínez, Professor of Human Anatomy and Embryology at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, will speak about the influence of intellectual confinement on mental health.
Salvador Martínez, who has an extensive scientific career, was director of the Institute of Neurosciences in Alicante, part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He currently serves as Director of the Experimental Embryology Laboratory at the same institute, where he is leading a pioneering clinical trial to halt the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
This neuroscientist combines his extensive knowledge in the field of neuroscience with an ability to convey the results of his research in simple words.
