This project, an initiative of six young people from the municipality, is based on holistic education, encompassing different areas—physical, mental, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual (body, soul, and mind). This is an attempt to create an innovative approach as an alternative to traditional education models, taking into account all aspects of children's lives, enabling them to work holistically.
The main recipients are children and adolescents referred from the Social Welfare intervention project with the Roma population.
Among other activities such as creative reading and writing, climbing on a climbing wall, escape rooms, and emotional intelligence workshops, the ONCE Foundation offered a Braille workshop on January 17th, thus achieving not only the learning of this system as a communication tool, but also promoting emotional, social, and cognitive skills such as empathy, inclusion, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Representatives from the Youth and Social Policies departments will also be present so that they can learn firsthand about the activities carried out and the benefits these projects bring to the municipality's young people.
