At 9:49 p.m. on Monday, June 29, an earthquake occurred in Cieza, but it did not cause any personal or material damage.

 

The tremor was located superficially, placing its epicenter southwest of Cieza and registering a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale.

At the time of writing, we are told that it has been felt by the population in rural areas of El Jinete, El Horno, and Los Charcos.
