Based on true events, 'Veronica' tells a story that took place in Madrid in the 1990s. Inspired by the strange, still unsolved Vallecas case, the film centers on Veronica, a teenager who, after using a Ouija board with some friends, is besieged by supernatural presences intent on harming her family. The film is directed by Paco Plaza, director of the REC films, and features a cast featuring Sandra Escacena, Bruna González, Claudia Placer, and Iván Chavero as newcomers, along with Ana Torrent, Sonia Almarcha, Maru Valdivielso, and Leticia Dolera.
Horror and suspense come to Cieza with 'Veronica'. You can see it from this Saturday until Monday, September 18 at the Aurelio Guirao Auditorium.
