Cieza City Council reports that repair work began last week on the synthetic flooring in the gymnasium of the Mariano Rojas municipal sports center.
This project aims to repair the damaged areas of the synthetic turf at this facility, as well as repair and weld the joints in the pavement, which caused numerous problems for the athletes who use it.
These works continue the recent repairs to municipal sports facilities carried out by the Sports Department. These include the repair of the roof of the Juan José Angosto Pavilion and the repairs to the La Era and Joaquín Sánchez football fields.
In the words of Sports Councilor Carlos Semitiel, "We have taken advantage of this period of closure at the sports facilities to address the most priority work there, which is one of our main objectives. We have a lot of work ahead of us in this regard to ensure the facilities are in perfect condition for sports practice as soon as possible."
