The Department of Employment and Economic Development of the Cieza City Council, in collaboration with the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (FECOAM), the Coordinator of Agricultural Organizations (COAG), and the Union of Small Farmers of Murcia (UPA), is launching various training actions for the start of this year's agricultural campaign.
The training program scheduled for this period includes the following courses: Forklift Operator (October 1st and 2nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), Tractor Handling and Safe Use (October 14th, 15th, and 16th), Basic Level Phytosanitary (October 19th to 23rd), and Qualified Level Phytosanitary (October 26th to October 10th). These last three courses will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to make it easier for interested participants to attend.
These actions will be carried out to promote the integration of participants into the workforce, providing them with the qualifications, skills, and experience that employers demand at the start of the season, an objective of the Cieza Local Development Plan (PdDL). This training is designed to facilitate obtaining the professional certifications necessary to perform certain tasks on farms.
The training is completely free and is aimed at people in the agri-food sector, farmers, business owners and the unemployed.
In order to participate in the courses and given the current situation, registrations can be made electronically; to do so you can register by downloading it from the CARM website.
Once this registration is completed, it is necessary to attach a photocopy of the ID card to the applications so that the registrations are complete, and send it to the email address of the Department of Employment and Economic Development, empleo@cieza.es, where you can also request it by calling 968767441.
These training activities have been generated through the demands gathered during the rounds of visits established by the Local Development Promotion Plan (PdDL), "committing to meaningful training, that is, training geared towards what is demanded by local businesses."
