The Flor Cieza Festival continues with another highlight, with three amazing performances this Saturday, March 3rd, starting at 6 p.m. in Cieza's Plaza Mayor. We'll be able to hear Cieza-based Lücky Dückes, the band Mi Capitán, and the great Coque Malla of 'Los Ronaldos.'
LUCKY DUCKS (6:00 p.m.)
This young group has carved out a niche among the most prominent emerging artists on the national scene, confirming its rise after being a major discovery at festivals such as Granada Sound, Festival de los Sentidos, and the Verasummer Festival, among others.
They have also completed a major tour with notable events such as Hard Rock Café in Barcelona, Estrella Damm Concerts at the Mutua Open in Madrid, and a double sold-out performance at the Madrid venue Fotomatón, closing out this cycle of two EPs that have featured more than 60 concerts across Spain.
MY CAPTAIN (7:00 p.m.)
Pop rock band led by Gonçal Planas (guitar and vocals), accompanied by Ricky Falkner (drums), Ferrán Pontón (bass), Julián Saldarriaga (guitar), Ricky Lavado (percussion), Dani Ferrer (keyboards) and Víctor Valiente (guitars).
Planas' vocal maturity, along with the weight of a rhythm section (Falkner, Lavado and Pontón) that once again understands each other wonderfully, the classicism and imagination of Ferrer's keys and the distinct punch of the guitars of Valiente, more classical, and Saldarriaga, more modern, have built an indisputably rock artifact but with doors open to new sound textures.
COKE MESH (8:00 p.m.)
Coque Malla visits Cieza to present his new live show, IRREPETIBLE. The new album and DVD were recorded live on June 6 at the Teatro Nuevo de Alcalá in Madrid.
Coque and his band will offer the best of their current repertoire, along with songs by the Ronaldos.
Formation: Coque Malla (vocals and guitar), Gabriel Marijuán (drums), David Sánchez (keyboards), Antonio Brunet (guitar), Héctor Rojo (bass).
Good morning: Regarding the cancellation of the Coque Maya concert, what will happen with tickets? The opening acts performed, and Coque Maya, after the rain stopped 35 minutes after the last song, "Lucky Dukes," decided to cancel the show.
