The Local Government Board has approved the regulatory guidelines and the 2023 call for applications for the 4th Christmas Landscape Integration Competition in the Neighborhoods of Cieza, "Christmas Corners." The BORM (Regional Regional Government of Cieza) published these guidelines today, Tuesday.
The Department of Citizen Participation of the Cieza City Council is announcing the fourth neighborhood decoration contest, part of the 2023 Christmas activities.
Sources from the department explain that "the ambiance of the neighborhoods is of decisive importance in creating an enriching environment, which will attract citizens, thus enhancing the visibility of the neighborhoods. Likewise, the intention is for the decoration to be done using mostly recycled and recyclable materials that are environmentally friendly."
Participation is by neighborhood, and anyone can participate through neighborhood associations established and registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations.
The objectives of this competition are to promote and improve coexistence and relationships between neighbors through group work, to raise awareness of the municipality's neighborhoods, and to involve the residents in activities celebrating Christmas in Cieza.
Neighborhoods wishing to participate must submit a registration application (Annex I of these Rules) to the Department of Citizen Participation, which is open until Thursday, December 21. The cash prizes and diplomas will be €500, €400, €350, €250, and €200.
