Once again, the "El Prendimiento" Photography Contest, organized by the Royal Brotherhood of Jesus of Nazareth of Cieza, returns. With this contest, we once again seek to find the photograph that will have the honor of announcing the ceremony and subsequent procession of El Prendimiento, which takes place in Cieza every Holy Tuesday.
The contest is divided into two categories. The first category focuses on Holy Tuesday in Cieza, giving voice and visibility to the night of Holy Tuesday in Cieza. The first prize, awarded with 300 euros, will be awarded. The photographs must focus on the moments, floats, and brotherhoods that parade on the night of Holy Tuesday in Cieza. This prize will be published as the Announced Poster for the "El Prendimiento" event during Holy Week in Cieza 2024, declared of International Tourist Interest.
A second category, focused entirely on the Brotherhood of Jesus, will be awarded the SECOND and THIRD PRIZE, prizes of 150 and 75 euros, respectively. The second prize will be published as the cover of the Brotherhood's 2024 Calendar. Therefore, only photographs focused on floats, parades, or moments related to the Royal Brotherhood of Jesus - Nazareno - will be eligible for this category.
Those interested must submit their photographs between Monday, October 2 and Thursday, October 5 of this year. The jury's decision and presentation of the competition are scheduled for Saturday, October 14. For more details, please see the contest rules.
