The Cieza City Council, through the Department of Employment and Economic Development, continues to strengthen its collaboration with the Agricultural Center (COAG, UPA, and FECOAM), with the goal of advancing the specialization and professionalization of agricultural workers.
Therefore, for this last quarter of the year, a wide and diverse range of training programs has been developed, completely free of charge and tailored to the needs of working and unemployed people, as well as farmers themselves. All courses will be taught in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the training classrooms of the Department of Employment and Economic Development, "Crea y Emprende" Building, Camino de Murcia s/n. Through this training, students will acquire the qualifications, skills, and experience necessary to work in the various positions required by the agricultural sector.
The courses offered are:
- Course of “Safe Tractor Handling”There will be two editions, a first edition on September 13, 14 and 15 and a second edition on September 20, 21 and 22, both editions taught by COAG.
- Course “Organic Agriculture”, held on September 27 and 28, taught by FECOAM.
- Course "Safe Forklift Operation” There will be two editions, a first edition on October 4 and 5, taught by UPA and a second edition on October 10 and 11, taught by COAG.
- Course "Basic level phytosanitary product handler”, On October 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, taught by COAG.
- Course “Start of pruning stone fruit trees”; There will be two editions, a first edition on October 17, 18 and 19, taught by FECOAM and a second edition on October 25, 26 and 27, taught by UPA.
- Course "“Qualified level phytosanitary product handler”; There will be two editions, a first edition from October 24 to November 9, taught by FECOAM and a second edition from November 7 to November 22, taught by COAG.
