On December 31st at approximately 1:30 a.m., Cieza Local Police officers arrested a man with the initials AB, approximately 21 years of age, for alleged attempted robbery.
Within the surveillance and prevention operation against the commission of crimes against the peaceTrimonio, Local Police officers, thanks to citizen collaboration, located and caught "in flagrante" a man who tried to use a stone to break the windows of a car parked on Gregorio Marañón Street with the possible intention of stealing objects from inside.
The suspect had the officers in a state of turmoil because, since early evening, they had been alerted by several citizens who provided a description of the man and reported that he had committed several robberies inside vehicles by breaking the windows after throwing stones at them.
The search was successful, and the alleged perpetrator was finally located. Officers confirmed that he could be the same person involved in the theft from the interior of five vehicles, leading to his arrest.
