The alleged perpetrator of puncturing the tires of police vehicles has been arrested.

The Civil Guard has arrested the alleged perpetrator of damage to several Local Police and Civil Guard vehicles in Cieza.

This individual (JABA, 19 years old) had also been arrested a few days earlier by local police officers for the crime of assault, disobedience and resistance to law enforcement officers.

Article 265 of the Penal Code:

"Anyone who destroys, seriously damages, or renders unfit for service, even temporarily, military works, establishments or installations, warships, military aircraft, military transport or transmission means, war material, supplies or other means or resources used for the service of the Armed Forces or the Security Forces and Corps, shall be punished with imprisonment of two to four years..."

Article 550 of the Penal Code:

Attacks will be punished with prison sentences of one to four years and a fine of three to six months if the attack is against an authority, and with imprisonment of six months to three years in other cases.

The detainee and the proceedings have been handed over to the Cieza Duty Court.
