Two people were treated early this morning by emergency health services, affected by smoke inhalation during the fire that occurred inside a home in Cieza.
The 1-1-2 emergency service received up to ten calls at 3:40 a.m., reporting that a lot of smoke was coming from inside a first floor of a building on Molinico de la Huerta street.
Local police patrols from Cieza and firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia were mobilized to the scene, as well as ambulances with health personnel from the 061 Health Emergency and Urgent Care Management.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within half an hour. The fire affected one room and produced a large amount of smoke. Two people (a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman) were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation, although they did not require hospitalization.
