The councilor accompanied the manager of the ADRI Group of the Ricote Valley, José Luis Tornero, this Thursday in an informative talk requested by the Cieza City Council.
The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, explained at a meeting with businesses and associations attending the information session of the Local Action Group ADRI of the municipalities of the Vega del Segura region, held this Thursday at the Hospedería San Sebastián, that “applying for LEADER funds is a very interesting financing option for companies and groups whose objective is to launch entrepreneurial initiatives that promote job creation and boost the economy.” He therefore encouraged attendees to apply for these grants under the new strategy that will be launched in a few months and will cover the period 2023-2027.
For his part, José Luis Tornero, manager of the local action group, which helps companies and institutions process LEADER funds, gave attendees the key information about the aid and offered the support of the office he manages in understanding the details of the call for proposals and processing applications.
The aim of the event was to foster dialogue and gather ideas on action plans considered relevant for local businesses, clubs, and associations interested in applying for these grants. Furthermore, it sought to gain a clear understanding of Cieza's specific needs and provide direct, firsthand information from the Local Action Group of the Integrated Rural Development Association of the Municipalities of the Vega del Segura (ADRI) regarding the procedures and issues related to the grants.
