The Cieza City Council has signed a contract with the Cieza Municipal Band for €25,000, which covers the various activities the band carries out for the council throughout the year.
With this measure, we aim to highlight the Band's work and, at the same time, consolidate a relationship that has been maintained informally for years. This will allow us to develop new ideas and activities while expanding the Band's reach, thus consolidating an institution that unites the work and participation of hundreds of Ciezans.
The mayor's office would like to express its gratitude for the great work carried out by the Municipal Band in promoting culture, providing musical training, and transmitting values to its members. "Cieza wouldn't be the same without its municipal band, which has provided the soundtrack to the development of our city."
For her part, the Councilor for Culture stated that we have a Municipal Band with great potential and musical talent, and therefore, we felt it necessary to comprehensively support a project that will grow in the coming years. "We have guaranteed the band's work with adequate funding for its activities."
