This year, the Digital Information Society magazine announced the Socinfo Digital Awards: MURCIA TIC, the submission of nominations for which closed on June 21. The awards were presented today, Monday, July 1, in Murcia during the event "ICT Priorities in Murcia's Public Administrations in the Face of Next Generation Funds." The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, was responsible for collecting the aforementioned recognition for the work presented in the Efficient Interoperability section.

The objective of the Digital Information Society Magazine with these Awards is to disseminate ICT development projects in public administrations, both in citizen services and internally to improve efficiency.

Likewise, we must recognize the essential and well-done work of industry professionals with an incentive such as the public awarding of prizes. This recognition is due to the great work, effort, dedication, and professionalism of all public and private employees, public institutions, industry associations, and professionals who have combated the pandemic with initiatives, solutions, exemplary leadership, solidarity, efficiency, and hard work.

The award categories were:

Efficient Interoperability Award (the one obtained by the Cieza City Council)

Citizen Services Digitalization Award

To Open Government

Also to Security and Data Protection

Another one for Change Management in the AAPP

One for Cooperation between ICT Companies and Public Administrations (award for the administration and the company)

Lifetime Achievement Award: recognizes individuals who are constantly and specifically involved in ICT.

The awards do not have a monetary prize. A prize is awarded to each winner in their respective category.
