Following the last meeting held on October 30 with the Director General of the Railway Sector, Carlos María Juárez Colera, and with the Commission for the Cartagena-Albacete Corridor dependent on CONSUMUR and in which the Cieza City Council was represented, this platform called for a new demonstration this Monday afternoon in the Plaza de Santa Ana in Hellín to demand the need for electrification, doubling, European gauge and above all the immediate reopening of said line with the schedules and frequencies (two ALVIAS and two regional trains).

The Cieza City Council, led by Mayor Tomás Rubio, joined the initiative given the importance of the railway line for the economic and social development of Cieza and its surrounding region and area of influence. The Mayor of Hellín, Manuel Serena, was also present at the event.
