The Mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, accompanied by several members of the Municipal Council, including the Councilor for Celebrations, Amparo Belmonte, and the Councilor for Culture, María Turpín, officially inaugurated the municipal nativity scene on Friday night on the ground floor of the Siyâsa Museum, at 13 San Sebastián Street.
This is a work by artisan Juan Marín that reproduces various scenes of several historic buildings in Cieza. This year, as a novelty, he adds a detailed model of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption.
Mayor Tomás Rubio took advantage of the event to wish the people of Cieza a Merry Christmas on behalf of the City Council.
The inauguration was enlivened by the Rociero del Segura Choir and the IMAS music group.
