The grand parade of carnival groups, music, children's entertainment at the Convent Corner and Plaza de España, and the distribution of fried cakes with chocolate will be the highlights of the 2026 Cieza Carnival. The program, prepared by the Department of Festivities, will take place from February 14th to 17th. Four days dedicated to these very popular celebrations, which are becoming increasingly spectacular and popular among the residents of Cieza.
The festivities will begin on February 14th at 5:00 PM with the grand carnival parade, culminating in the Plaza de España with the awards ceremony for the winning troupes. The parade route will be as follows: Diego Giménez Castellanos, Plaza de San Juan Bosco, Paseo de José Antonio Camacho, Plaza de las Cortes Españolas, Gran Vía Juan Carlos I, Camino de Murcia, Esquina del Convento, Paseo, Santa Ana, and Plaza de España.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, February 15, at 5:00 p.m., the Convent Corner will host several recreational activities designed for the little ones: professional fantasy makeup, music and children's entertainment with the favorite characters of the little ones.
On Monday, February 16, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Plaza de España will host a photocall with music and entertainment featuring the most well-known children's characters.
As the closing event of the carnival, on February 17, Tuesday of Reventón, the Plaza de España will be the chosen venue for the Cantajuegos 'Special Carnival' show and the distribution of fried cakes with chocolate.
