On Monday, March 25, Councilor for Social Policy, Gertrudis Juliá Villa, closed the art and creativity workshop for families.

During the month of March, the "Paper Butterflies" art and creation workshop was held at the Géneros de Punto Cultural Center, with the participation of families who are users of the Family and Minors Service at the Municipal Social Welfare Center.

This activity was led by artist and illustrator Katarzyna Rogowicz and is part of the initiatives aimed at promoting positive parenting, subsidized by the Ministry of Social Policy, Families, and Equality and the Ministry of Social Rights.

The positive parenting approach emphasizes the importance of the bond between mothers/fathers and children for healthy development during childhood and adolescence. Its main objectives include achieving satisfactory relationships between family members, which in turn facilitate the stimulation and support necessary for learning and skill development.

This experience provided the participants with the opportunity to learn from the little ones, while also sharing a space for relaxation, tranquility, and fun. The creative context and the recognition of the value of contributions from both adults and children fostered communication and the search for new solutions when resolving disagreements.

The Municipal Social Welfare Center has emphasized the importance of group work, which multiplies the impact of individual interventions with users and families receiving support from the center.
