Municipal sources report that the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Employment is offering courses for people over 18 to acquire digital skills. The training will be provided through the Digital Training Classroom Network, comprised of sixteen adult education centers, including the Vega Alta CEPA in Cieza, where courses will include internet introduction, basic computing, computer introduction, and practical internet skills.

The Digital Skills Training Program, which includes the aforementioned 30-hour courses, will be offered both in-person and online. Those interested in enrolling can do so free of charge through murcia.digital.dicampus.es or, if you prefer, in person at the CEPA Vega Alta de Cieza facilities, located at the IES Diego Tortosa, at 35 Juan XXIII Street.

Preference will be given to those over 55 years of age with low qualifications, as well as those over 16 years of age at risk of digital exclusion, who are outside the education and training system and who can improve their quality of life by acquiring basic digital skills.

The implementation of the Digital Training Classrooms, as well as the design and execution of the training programs for this initiative, are funded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the European Union through NextGenerationEU funds.
