Statement by the Director General of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Manuel Cebrián, on the programming of the Professional Circuit of Performing Arts and Music of the Region of Murcia for November.

 

The Professional Performing Arts and Music Circuit, promoted by the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA) in conjunction with the regional municipalities, will feature 15 theater, music, and dance performances in eight municipalities in November. The performing arts venues that have scheduled performances are in Alcantarilla, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cieza, Lorquí, Murcia, Santomera, and Torre Pacheco.

The director general of the ICA, Manuel Cebrián, stated that "at the Ministry of Culture, we work together with local governments to achieve high-quality, stable, and continuous programming for the municipalities' performing arts venues, with a dual objective: to bring culture to all citizens and to promote the cultural industries of the Region of Murcia."

Specifically, the November programming of the Professional Performing Arts and Music Circuit begins this Wednesday, November 1, with "Doña Inés del alma mía, Don Juan Tenorio" by Ditirambo, at the Nuevo Teatro Circo in Cartagena.

The venue hosting the most performances will be the Torre Pacheco Performing Arts Center, all scheduled for Fridays. Its lineup includes "Doña Inés del alma mía, Don Juan Tenorio" by Ditirambo on November 4; "Mamá!" by Doble K Teatro on the 11th; and "Desprovisto" by the UpArte company on November 18.

In Murcia, UpArte will also bring "Desprovisto" to the Guadalupe Auditorium on November 11th; on the 17th, the Algezares Auditorium will feature the show "Murcianos 3. El despertar de la huerta" by the company Una risa más; and the Bernal Theater is programming "Miguel Hernández (If You Don't Get Me Out of Here, I'll Die)" by Trama Teatro for the 24th.

The Abanilla Auditorium will offer two shows: "Love and Madness" by Trama Teatro on the 4th, and "You Had to Be a Woman!" by Yampo Teatro on November 25th. The Enrique Tierno Galván Cultural Center in Lorquí will host "Letter from a Stranger" by Clara Luz on the 10th, and "#Rachmaninov150" by Nunen on November 17th.

On the 10th, the Infanta Elena Cultural Center in Alcantarilla will perform "Self-Employed, the Real Heroes" by Bocachancla Productions; on the 18th, at the Thuillier Theater in Caravaca de la Cruz, Zarco Theater will present "Pancreas"; on the 25th, the Capitol Theater in Cieza will host a performance by Antoñito Molina, from Silbato Productions; and on November 25th, at the El Sicar Theater in Santomera, Arena Theater will present "Small Things."
