The mayor of Cieza, Tomás Rubio, and the director general of Commerce, Rafael Gómez, attended the raffle this Friday night for the initiative called "Cieza, your open shopping center," which is part of the campaign to boost local commerce promoted by the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the Cieza Merchants Association.

During the raffle, which took place in Plaza de España, seven prizes of 500 euros each were awarded to residents who shopped at participating retailers and deposited their ballots throughout the afternoon in the ballot box set up in the central plaza of Cieza.

The awards ceremony was also attended by Councilor for Commerce, Gertrudis Villa, and the president and treasurer-secretary of the Cieza Merchants Association, María del Carmen Morcillo and Puri Méndez, respectively.
