Cieza City Council's Employment Councilor, Manuel Martínez, held a meeting this week with the foremen of the Regional Councils Program to organize the work to be carried out this year.
They will begin next Monday, October 2.
The Regional Councils are a program to promote rural employment, providing subsidies to local governments for hiring agricultural workers.
This year, Cieza will host the execution of three projects in different phases and on different dates.
The first project, titled "Natural and Sustainable Cieza," will run from October 1 to December 31; 147 farm laborers (3 months full-time) and 5 foremen (3 months full-time) will be hired.
The second project, "Conservation and Development of Various Infrastructures in Cieza," will run from November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, and will hire 15 agricultural laborers (3 months, full-time).
Finally, the report "Actions aimed at preserving Cieza's forest heritage" will be carried out in two phases: the first from October 1 to December 31, 2023, for which six agricultural laborers will be hired (for three months, full-time); and the second from January 1 to March 31, 2024, for which six agricultural laborers will be hired (for three months, full-time).
