Cieza will be present for another edition at the world's most important tourism fair, FITUR.

This year's highlights include its festivals: the Flowering Festival, the Flor Cieza Festival, and the International Folklore Festival in the Segura River, held in August as a prelude to the patron saint festivities in honor of the patron saint, Saint Bartholomew.

Next Friday, the 20th, at 6:45 p.m., the 7th edition of the 1st Cieza Tourism Plan "FLORACIÓN" will be presented at the Region of Murcia Stand at FITUR. On this occasion, the "Performing Arts" petal will take on special importance, revealing the extensive program that this petal has prepared for Floración 2023: "Clásicos en Floración", a show that will mark the inauguration of the project, "Pianos en Floración", "Los Sonidos del Soto", "Pasajes Floración", "Atardeceres Floración", the "IX Day of the Federation of Bands", and highlighting the firm commitment to its festival, the Flor Cieza Festival, which this year will consist of two days, Friday, March 17th, starting at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 18th, starting at 5:30 p.m., in the Plaza de España tent.

On Saturday, it will be FITUR's turn for the 33rd International Folklore Festival. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the lineup for this 33rd edition will be unveiled, inviting the entire world to discover and enjoy it from August 18 to 20, 2023. Of course, the presentation will feature a special performance by the Francisco Salzillo Choir and Dance Group, which attendees will be able to enjoy, accompanied by "Manjar de Cieza" (Manjar of Cieza) prepared by the phenomenal pastry chef Joaquín de Las Delicias.

Pascual Lucas stated that "we are going to FITUR with the enthusiasm that comes with a project in which an entire town participates. Blossoming is a natural phenomenon inherent to the identity of the people of Cieza, who have spent their entire lives enjoying the pink-tinged fields, with the respect that the hard work of our farmers deserves. Today, Cieza is a smart and sustainable tourist destination capable of showcasing its rich heritage and traditions to the world."

"At the world's most important tourism fair, FITUR, the best are there, and with our tourism potential, Cieza has to be there. We'll give it our all, we'll continue working tirelessly to ensure that Cieza remains a benchmark for tourism and maintains the privileged position we've established it in," concludes Antonio Moya, Cieza City Councilor for Tourism.
