The company collaborates selflessly to transcribe municipal plenary sessions.
On March 11, 2019, Carlos Gavilán, Manager of Biometric Vox, paid a courtesy visit to the Cieza City Council to inform them of the ongoing improvements being made to the TranscribeVox software, which enables the transcription of plenary sessions. The Cieza City Council is collaborating in its implementation, contributing its experience in e-administration and, above all, its extensive track record in the computerization of municipal processes. This software will help solve the enormous logistical problems involved in hearing plenary sessions and then writing them down on paper.
The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and the Councilor for Transparency, Miguel Gual, met with the Manager to report on the progress made and to express their special gratitude for the staff savings achieved through the use of this IT tool, which represents no cost to the Cieza City Council.
In Lucas's words, "It's a source of pride to be pioneers in the use of these tools, which make this municipality more humane and take a step closer to transparency, bringing the daily work of this City Council closer to the public."
For his part, Miguel Gual informed Biometric Vox about the work data, the progress made, and the possibilities for automated implementation, which will undoubtedly help other municipalities in this task, to which municipalities across Spain are currently dedicating thousands of hours of work.
For his part, Carlos Gavilán, Manager of Biometric Vox, reported on the latest work carried out to improve the tool, which has doubled its transcription speed and increased accuracy to almost 95%, thanks to the improvement contributions made by the Cieza City Council.
