The Councillor for European Projects and Development Goals, María Ángeles Ruiz Aniorte, attended this Friday the 'Land of Opportunities' event which, organized by the Association for Integrated Rural Development of the Municipalities of Vega del Segura (ADRI Vega del Segura), took place at the Pedro Cano Foundation in the neighboring town of Blanca.

The president of the GAL ADRI Vega del Segura, Patricia Fernández, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of rural entrepreneurship as an engine for development, innovation, and employment in the municipalities that make up this local action group. "The future of the rural world is built with people who believe in their land," she emphasized.

The day also served to recognize the entrepreneurs awarded for their sustainable and innovative projects in the Vega del Segura, among them, La Huertica (online retail of fruits and vegetables), Bodega Tinaha (production of organic wine made in clay amphorae), Jaleos Comunicación con Vistas (creative marketing and communication agency) and La Joya del Valle de Ricote (citrus tour on farm and accommodation).
