Last weekend a new season began for the Siyâsa Basket Club.
He did so with a single match, the one played last Saturday morning in Archena, in the Junior Men's category.
The match began with numerous inaccuracies on the part of both teams, typical of the first match of the season. From the outset, the Cieza players' attitude and intensity were evident, making up for their physical inferiority against the Archena players, as they were all first-year juniors. However, their technical and tactical superiority, despite only a month of training, was evident, leading them to a score of up to 16 points.
The final push by the Archena boys never jeopardized this epic victory for our junior boys. Without a doubt, this squad of fabulous players, expertly coached by Panos, will bring the fans plenty of joy this year. The final score was 46-54 for the Cieza players.
