Due to the high temperature alert in the municipality of Cieza, the decision has been made to modify the weekly market schedule.

The posts must be removed by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, so that street cleaning and household waste collection services can carry out their work before the start of the red alert period for extreme temperatures.

These measures are being taken in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 4/2023, of May 11, which adopts urgent agricultural and water measures in response to the drought and the worsening conditions of the primary sector resulting from the armed conflict in Ukraine and weather conditions, as well as to promote the use of public land transport by young people and prevent occupational hazards during periods of high temperatures.

3. In the event that the State Meteorological Agency or, where applicable, the corresponding regional body in the case of autonomous communities that have such a service, issues an orange or red level adverse weather warning, and the above preventive measures do not guarantee the protection of workers, it will be mandatory to adapt working conditions, including the reduction or modification of the hours of the planned workday.
