This Thursday, First Deputy Mayor María Ángeles Ruiz inaugurated the photography exhibition "Miralvalle. A Look at the Cultural Landscape of the Ricote Valley," organized by the La Carraila Cultural Association and Caramucel, Nature and History. This exhibition is part of the cultural program of the Department of Museums.

The exhibition graphically summarizes the interaction between humans and the natural environment in this natural enclave comprised of eight municipalities, a landscape comparable to some of North Africa's. Through 38 snapshots taken by Miñano, the most characteristic elements of the Ricote Valley's cultural landscape are shown, such as the Segura River, hydraulic systems, and agricultural orchards.

The exhibition's creator, Wayna Miñano, spoke at the opening; Jesús Joaquín López, spokesperson for the organizing associations; and Joaquín Salmerón, director of the Municipal Museum Service. The event was attended by government council members Francisco Martínez and Cristo Manuel Lucas; and Municipal Council members Celia Montiel, José Miguel García, and Amparo Belmonte.
