Next Sunday, November 26, on the occasion of the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, the image of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth will once again be carried through the streets of the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción neighborhood in Cieza in a Rogation Procession to pray for the health of the sick and needy in the parish.
The events for this holiday will begin the day before, Saturday 25thThe image will be displayed in Devoted Veneration in front of his chapel so that any faithful who wishes may approach him to convey their prayers and supplications. Likewise, during that time, a Food Collection for the most needy, for which baskets will be placed at the feet of the image where donations of non-perishable food can be deposited. The schedule of the Veneration will be at the opening of the temple, 9 to 13 and of 5 to 8 pm.
Already the Sunday 26th, the events will begin at 10 hours with the celebration of a Solemn Religious Service on the occasion of the aforementioned Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, which will be officiated by the Reverend D. José Antonio García López, counselor of the brotherhood. After it, at 11 hours approximately, the Rogation Procession.
The image of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth may be carried on the shoulders of anyone who wishes, and will be accompanied musically by the Medina Siyâsa Musical Group of our town.
