The Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), part of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Employment, has scheduled a training program for July and August consisting of 142 free courses to be held in 19 municipalities in the region.

The training activities cover 14 professional categories, with courses for both unemployed and employed individuals, totaling 24,545 hours of training.

SEF Director General Marisa López noted that "training opportunities continue during the summer months, as it's a time of year when many people take advantage of the opportunity to improve their education and expand their job opportunities."

Regarding course topics, there are courses on languages, sociocultural services, marketing, hospitality, and micro-business creation and management. For example, employed individuals can train as a leisure time monitor, crane operator, or learn how to use Google and its applications, among many others. Unemployed individuals can take courses on sustainable waste management, online sales in companies, customer service, or baking and pastry making.

The course offering can be consulted in the SEF websiteEste enlace se abrirá en ventana nueva in the 'I'm looking for training' section or with the SEFMóvil app, where interested parties will find complete information on each course, and it is still possible to sign up for many of them.
