In anticipation of the upcoming March 8th International Working Women's Day, the 1st Dangerous Women's Ideas Conference will take place on Saturday, March 1st at the Atalaya Club in Cieza.
Sponsored by the Atalaya-Ateneo de la Villa Club and AFEREM (the association for the future of education in the Region of Murcia), the first day of ideas on dangerous women will take place next Saturday, March 1, 2025, in preparation for the March 8th call.
This first edition of the conference, which aims to be established over time, will consist of presentations followed by debate on current vital topics such as the productive system in a dying world, the modes of occupation of space and their consequences, forced population movements, and problems arising from misinformation and social disorganization.
After a convivial lunch prepared with contributions from the participants, the day will conclude with a fan-film workshop and artistic editing of the dangerous ideas discussed. The workshop will be led by the publishing house MediaVaca, artist Clara Jiménez González, and illustrator Raquel Campillo (Ramona Corder).
Those interested in participating in the event and the potluck meal must register by filling out the following form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VZoc_HKSvB-WkrkNzZBJJnR-S2il9naAUOiWK61Q-xw/preview) or by sending an email to jornadamujeresideaspeligrosas@gmail.com indicating their name and surname.
