Local police in Cieza seized 373 packs of unlicensed cigarettes at a local business. The officers were conducting a special operation to prevent the consumption of drugs, alcohol, and other addictive substances when they noticed signs of unlicensed tobacco sales at a food retail store.

As a result, they inspected the premises, finding that the manager, in order to evade police controls, hid the tobacco in a very elaborate way to avoid detection.

The locations used, which were difficult to access, forced the agents to work hard, even taking out about 100 packs of cigarettes hidden behind a decorative cover from under a shelf.

The final result of the operation was the seizure of approximately 373 packs of cigarettes, as well as approximately 200 cigarettes ready for sale individually.

Complaints were filed for lacking a license to sell tobacco, and all the material was seized.
