Personnel assigned to the Infomur Plan have been working on the fire that broke out in some abandoned crops near the Ascoy industrial estate, at the foot of Cabezo de la Fuensantilla, in Cieza.
1-1-2 received the fire alert at 12:57 p.m. Firefighters from the Murcia Region Firefighting and Rescue Consortium responded to the scene, along with a helicopter with a heli-transported forestry brigade and a ground forestry brigade.
5:07 PM. The fire that burned nearly 3,500 square meters of abandoned agricultural land and a large amount of trash (mattresses, plastic, and debris) has been extinguished.
