Intensity and quality for a new victory for the men's cadet team

Four teams from the Siyâsa Basket sports club competed last week with a record of two wins and two losses.

This new day began with a match between the girls of ASESORÍA SAORÍN CADETE FEMENINO and Begastri, a team relegated from the gold category and undoubtedly a strong favorite to be promoted at the end of the season, as they have won all their matches. The visitors quickly established their physical superiority, establishing a ten-point lead they would never relinquish. Far from giving up, the Cieza team upped their physical game, and with a great defense, they managed to compete for much of the match. Despite the obvious improvement, the victory went to Cehegín by a score of 32-76.

Next up, our U12 boys faced Aguilas. The home team showed clear improvement, with the quality of their training evident each week. The Siyâsa boys dominated from start to finish, with comfortable leads that only grew throughout the match, leading 80-30. A great victory for this great team.

Sunday morning saw another regional derby against Abarán in the U16 GIRLS category. The home team got off to a poor start once again, with numerous offensive errors and a lack of defensive intensity, giving the visitors a lead that ultimately proved decisive. The break revived the ASESORÍA SAORIN U16 GIRLS, reducing the deficit to 10 points. Further inaccuracies tipped the balance in favor of the visitors, who deservedly took the match 29-45.

Next up, the SIYASA U16 MALE team played their best match of the day against Beniel. Both teams put on a high-level physical display, with the home team finding numerous opportunities to make a run thanks to their excellent defense, creating a dynamite advantage of up to 16 points. The Panos team's tactical changes and systems gave Beniel's team no chance. They ultimately won by 51-39, proving that without injuries, few teams can compete with this fantastic squad.
