The Acho-Cieza Club, in collaboration with the Cieza City Council, the Solidarity Hiking Association and the FAMU, is organizing the IV Dark Trail Cieza, the 13th qualifying event of the FAMU 2024 Trail Tour circuit with start and finish next to the Albergue de los Pinos.
In just one month, we'll be attending the 13th qualifying event of the 2024 FAMU Trail Tour circuit, the last before the summer break. It will take place on Saturday, June 15th, as part of the 4th Dark Trail Cieza, with the start and finish next to the Albergue de los Pinos in Ascoy, starting at 9:00 p.m. The event offers two competitive distances, approximately 23 and 14 km, with the latter offering the option of participating in the hiking category.
Registration for the event, organized by the Acho-Cieza club in collaboration with the Murcia Region Solidarity Hiking Association, the Cieza City Council, and the FAMU (Members of the Association of Solidarity Hiking) through Alcanza Tu Meta (Reach Your Goal), is still open until June 13th at 8:00 p.m. For card payments (POS) or until the registration limit is reached, registrations are accepted.
The cost of these is €25 for the races (€22 for athletes with FAMU, FTRM, FCRM, FMRM licenses, or members of the Asociación Senderismo Solidario), and €18 for the hiking route (€15 for athletes with the aforementioned licenses). €1 of each registration will be donated to environmental projects with a direct impact on the race's hosting area.
There will be prizes for the top three finishers overall in both distances, as well as for the top three in each established category. The top three local finishers will also be recognized, with recognition also for the largest club, and surprise prizes will be announced on the day of the race.
