The Cieza Department of Social Policies announces that next Tuesday, October 10th, in observance of World Homeless Day, it will hold an awareness-raising event, "What if one day it was you?", as part of the "FÓRUM: Another Look at Homelessness" project.

The event program includes:

9:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Official presentation by Mayor Tomás Antonio Rubio Carrillo at the Padre Salmerón Library.

9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m./11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Viewing of the campaign video "What if one day it was you?" at the Padre Salmerón Library.

9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Outdoor workshops for all audiences. Mural painting/graffiti, group dynamics, crafts, etc.

The campaign's intended objectives are to raise public awareness of the need to actively participate in solving social problems, such as those related to substandard housing and homelessness, and to give a voice to those struggling to access housing.

The event will be held in collaboration with Cáritas Region of Murcia, the Habito Association, and the Platform for People Affected by Mortgages. The Diego Tortosa and Los Albares secondary schools will participate.

The project is funded by the European Union within the framework of the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda's Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, through the recovery instruments known as Next Generation EU.
