The Tourism Department of the Cieza City Council announces the celebration of the Information and Awareness Day on the SICTED program (Comprehensive System of Tourist Quality in Destination), which will take place this Friday, November 14, at 1:30 p.m., on the second floor of the Municipal Library.

This event is designed to inform about the methodology and benefits that the SICTED program has for companies or resources, as well as for Cieza as a tourist destination, hence the interest of the City Council in its implementation in the town.

The meeting will be attended by technicians from the SICTED program, technicians from the Cieza Tourism Department, its head, María Turpín; the mayor, Tomás Rubio; and the Director General of Competitiveness and Tourism Quality, Eva Reverte Hernández. The objective is to present the project and answer all questions related to the program's implementation.

This event aims to demonstrate the importance for everyone of implementing this tourism management model.

What is SICTED?

It is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism (SETUR), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which works with tourist services of up to 37 different trades, with the ultimate goal of improving the tourist experience and satisfaction.

"Commitment to Tourism Quality" accredits and recognizes the effort made by participating tourism services.
