With a mother from Cieza and a father from Almería, fate led him to be born in Barcelona.On June 20, 1972, at just seven years old, he moved permanently to Cieza, where he currently resides with his wife, Juani, and his daughter, Olga. He studied at the Madre del Divino Pastor School and the Diego Tortosa Institute in Cieza. He holds a degree in Geography and History from the University of Murcia, specializing in Modern and Contemporary History. He is also a University Specialist in Mediation in contexts of social exclusion and discrimination.
He taught at the IES Los Albares in the Pre-Employment Classroom, and as an Expert Professor in the Professional Initiation Program for Employment, programs to combat truancy among secondary school students and the resulting social exclusion.
Licensed as an Official Tourist Guide for the Region of Murcia since 2005, he also earned a specialization in the town of Cieza and Rock Art in the Region of Murcia. He has published several articles on the heritage of Cieza and its rock art at national and international conferences, as well as in specialized journals. He holds a Nature Guide and Environmental Educator and Interpreter certification.
He has been an expert in local tourism development since 2007. He has extensive training in the tourism sector (tourism marketing, tourism infrastructure management, design and creation of cultural routes, museums and heritage, accessible tourism, etc.) and has taught rural tourism management courses in various locations in the Region of Murcia.
For 7 years (2005-2012) he worked as a Tourist Guide at the Tourist Office of the Cieza City Council, within the employment-promotion program "Ciudad de Cieza".
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Tourist Guides of the Region of Murcia (Asguimur).
He combines his work as a tour guide with administrative duties for the Federation of Choir and Dance Associations of Spain (FACYDE), where he is responsible for the office of this national federation, based in Cieza.
