Ciezan residents between the ages of 16 and 29 will work in various areas of the council to gain knowledge and experience.
Cieza City Council, through its Employment Department, will implement the First Professional Experience in Public Administration Program. This program will provide unemployed young people in Cieza, aged 16 to 29, who have completed a training program, with their first professional experience working for the City Council in the areas for which they have been trained, while also acquiring skills, social abilities, and professional skills.
With this program, the Cieza City Council will enable four young people with no prior experience to gain experience by working for 12 months on an internship contract in different municipal departments. This will contribute to preserving and restoring the environment, developing digital skills, and collaborating in youth employment creation. To this end, a Socio-Cultural Animation Technician, an Environmental Technician, an IT Technician, and an Administrative Technician will be hired. These young people will receive personal support and initial advice during the onboarding process, and will receive professional information, guidance, and training throughout the duration of their contracts.
This program has a public subsidy of €131,015.52 from the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, intended for the hiring of unemployed young people within the services provided by public administrations, within the framework of the European Union's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (Objective CID 342).
